Toronto-based BlackRock Asset Management Canada Ltd. announced on Wednesday that it’s permanently waiving part of the annual management fee for the newly renamed iShares Edge MSCI Min Vol EAFE Index exchange-traded fund (ETF).

The reduced annual management fee of 0.35%, which is now in effect, was originally meant to expire on Nov. 30, according to the firm’s announcement.

BlackRock Canada also announced that the ETF’s new name, iShares Edge MSCI Min Vol EAFE Index ETF, replaces the former name, iShares MSCI EAFE Minimum Volatility Index ETF.
