Seeking to cater to a new niche in the market, AXA Canada’s Group Insurance arm has launched a new product offering coverage specifically to Canadians working abroad.

The plan features multiple types of coverage combined into a single contract, including life, long-term disability, medical care and accidental death and dismemberment benefits. Several types of coverage are also available to the insured’s family members, whether they are located in Canada or abroad.

The plan offers clients abroad fast service for issuing contracts and settling claims, and the payment of benefits is available in a variety of foreign currencies.

AXA also offers a 24-hour Assistance Service accessible to clients in the event of medical, travel or personal emergencies anywhere in the world.
