Toronto-based Aston Hill Asset Management Inc. on Monday announced name changes for four of its mutual funds.

The new names more closely reflect the investment strategies of the funds, the company says in a statement, however there will be no change to the investment objectives, strategies and manager for the funds.

The name changes, pending regulatory approval, are:

  • Aston Hill Capital Growth Fund becomes Aston Hill Total Return Fund;
  • Aston Hill Capital Growth Class becomes Aston Hill Total Return Class;
  • Aston Hill U.S. Growth Fund becomes Aston Hill U.S Conservative Growth Fund;
  • Aston Hill U.S. Growth Class becomes Aston Hill U.S Conservative Growth Class.

Aston Hill Asset Management Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aston Hill Financial Inc. (TSX: AHF).
