AGF Funds Inc. has launched four corporate class versions of its Elements portfolios, to offer investors more flexibility and potential tax advantages, the company announced on Monday.
The AGF Elements portfolio classes are part of AGF All World Tax Advantage Group Limited, which allows investors to switch between these portfolios and more than 20 AGF corporate class mutual funds. Under the corporate class structure, investors can benefit from tax deferral and increased compound growth over the long term.
“At AGF, we recognize investors’ needs are evolving and tax efficient solutions are becoming increasingly important,” said Randy Ambrosie, president of AGF Funds Inc. “In launching the Elements corporate class portfolios, investors can now switch between corporate class investments as their needs and objectives change without incurring an immediate tax liability.”
The four Elements portfolio classes being launched include the Conservative Portfolio Class, Balanced Portfolio Class, Growth Portfolio Class and Global Portfolio Class.
Launched in 2005, AGF Elements was built with the assistance of pension consultant and investment management firm Wilshire Associates. The portfolios are constructed with complementary funds and rebalanced quarterly to maintain their risk/return profile.
