Acuity Funds Ltd. today introduced two new mutual funds to address what it says is a growing demand from investors seeking a mutual fund version of Acuity’s successful Pooled Funds.

Acuity Canadian Small Cap Mutual Fund invests primarily in Canadian small cap stocks.

Acuity Conservative Asset Allocation Mutual Fund invests primarily in a conservative mix of Canadian stocks, bonds, and income trusts.

“There have been many financial advisors asking for these new products,” says Stephen Crawford, national sales manager, at Acuity.

Both new funds are available in class A and class F units. Class A units are available for purchase under the initial sales charge, level load, or deferred sales charge option.

Acuity currently manages approximately $6 billion in assets on behalf of pension funds, foundations and high-net-worth individuals. Its products include 13 Acuity Pooled Funds, nine Acuity Mutual Funds, three Acuity Clean Environment Funds, two Acuity Social Values Mutual Funds, and Acuity Closed End Funds.
