Daniel Walsh has been named to the position of regional vice president, Eastern Region for RBC Insurance’ Canadian life insurance business. The move was effective March 21.

In his new position, Walsh will be responsible for working with distributors to build life, living benefits and group insurance sales for Quebec and Atlantic Canada, as well as managing a team of sales consultants.

RBC said Walsh has worked in advanced marketing, life insurance and national accounts. He will be located in the company’s Quebec office.
