Toronto-based TMX Group Ltd. is welcoming Alison Simpson to the newly created role of senior vice president of marketing and branding.
Simpson will be responsible for building TMX Group’s marketing strategy with a focus on enhancing the company’s presence and impact across various channels, including digital, mobile and social media. Corporate communications and media relations will report to Simpson who will, in turn, report to Lou Eccleston, TMX Group’s CEO.
Prior to joining TMX Group in this new position, Simpson was senior vice president of marketing and customer experience with Toronto-based Holt Renfrew & Co. Ltd. While employed at the retailer, she expanded the company’s digital and brand marketing capabilities and was a part of the executive team for the firm’s e-commerce launch. She was also vice president of marketing communications at Toronto-based Rogers Communications Inc.
