Nadir Mohamed has been elected to the board of directors at TD Bank Financial Group, the company announced today.

His proven track record as an experienced executive and director will bring a valuable perspective to our strategic discussions and debate,” said John Thompson, chairman of the board at TD Bank. “Nadir’s extensive business knowledge combined with his financial background makes him a great addition to our Board and Audit Committee.”

Mohamed is currently president and COO of the Communications Group at Rogers Communications Inc. He is a chartered accountant and also serves on the board of Rogers Communications Inc. and is on the board of governors for Ryerson University in Toronto.
