Bank of Nova Scotia veteran Julie Cowan has joined Grayhawk Investment Strategies Inc. as a partner and the Ontario relationship lead for the high-net-worth firm.
Cowan leaves her role as managing director at Scotiabank, where she was head of Canadian relationship management for global capital markets. She also spent more than a decade with U.S. investment bank Morgan Stanley as an equity derivative sales person in Toronto and London, U.K.
Cowan will work from Grayhawk’s Toronto office, a release from the firm said.
In October, Grayhawk hired a Quebec relationship lead after opening a Montreal office.
The firm provides customized advice and endowment-style portfolio construction to its wealthy clients from its offices in Calgary, Toronto and Montreal.
