RBC Insurance on Friday announced the appointment of Stephen Miziolek to the position of regional vice-president, Western Region for the life and health division of RBC Insurance.

In his new position, Miziolek will manage and develop customer relationships, sales associates and business growth across the life, living benefits, group and wealth management product lines in the province of British Columbia.

“We are certain our customers and associates will benefit from Stephen’s knowledge and understanding of the industry,” said Neil Paton, vp, insurance sales development. “Stephen’s leadership and expertise in business development makes him an ideal fit for this role.”

Miziolek comes to the position with over 20 years of financial services experience. Most recently, he was a director of national accounts for RBC Insurance and was responsible for the wealth products distribution strategy.

Miziolek will be located in the company’s Vancouver office.
