The Nova Scotia Securities Commission has appointed Bill Slattery as director of securities.
In this position, Slattery will carry out the director’s statutory duties, serve as the chief administrative officer of the NSSC and be responsible for the commission’s day-to-day operations.
Slattery joined the commission in 1988 and has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility, from deputy registrar of corporate finance to director of corporate finance and administration.
He has also served on numerous committees of the Canadian Securities Administrators throughout the years, helping to develop policy and rules adopted by Canadian securities regulators.
