Alice Keung, senior vp – information technology and chief information officer of National Bank of Canada, has received an award of distinction from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business to underscore her successful business career, close ties with her alma mater and commitment to the community.
Keung is in charge of all computer and telecommunications activities at National Bank.
Keung is a member of the National Judging Committee for the Canadian Information Productivity Awards (CIPA) and has given numerous lectures on her field of expertise to both professional and academic groups. She also oversees National Bank’s Diversity Week, dedicated to sensitizing employees’ to the advantages of diversity and reducing prejudice in the workplace.
In 2003, Keung was one of three finalists for the Montreal YWCA’s Women of Distinction Award in the Advancement of Women category. She was also named to the ranks of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 by the Toronto-based Women’s Executive Network (WXN) in 2004.
