Kensington Capital Partners announced today that Rick Nathan, President of Canada’s Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, has joined the firm as a Partner. In this role, Mr. Nathan will form part of the core team leading the firm’s investments in Canadian private equity funds, as well as its very active co-investment program alongside its portfolio funds.

Nathan is an experienced investor, strategic advisor and lawyer, and became a member of Kensington’s investment committee in 2005, as an advisor to the firm, from his position as managing director of Goodmans Venture Group, a division of Goodmans LLP. Nathan was also one of the founding partners of Brightspark Ventures, a leading early stage venture capital firm based in Toronto.
