Mercer Canada has appointed new heads for its wealth practices in Toronto and Quebec.
Todd Nelson is the firm’s new wealth leader for its Toronto office and Yanick Chainey will lead the wealth business for the province of Quebec, the firm said Wednesday in a release.
Nelson has been at Mercer Canada since last year and previously held senior roles at Willis Towers Watson in Toronto. He has worked with defined benefit and defined contribution plan sponsors, the release said.
Chainey joined Mercer in 2011 and has held senior roles in Montreal, Paris and New York. His expertise includes cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and the management and design of global benefits, the release said.
