Leon Frazer & Associates Inc. has appointed Douglas Kee as chief executive officer.
Effective June 12, Kee takes over the reins of Leon Frazer, replacing Russell Lindsay who was recently named chief operating officer of Jovian Capital Corp. Jovian is the parent company of Leon Frazer.
Kee has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. “We are very pleased to welcome Doug to the Jovian family. We believe that his many years of experience in the investment management and asset management fields will be a good fit for Leon Frazer. In addition, this will now allow Russ Lindsay to focus his full attention on helping Jovian to achieve its operational and financial goals,” said Philip Armstrong, Jovian president and CEO, in a news release.
Founded in 1939, Leon Frazer is one of Canada’s oldest investment counselors, providing investment management services to mainly individual Canadians.
