Laurentian Bank of Canada announced on Tuesday the appointment of Dana Ades-Landy as senior vice president for major accounts, commercial lending in Quebec.
In this new position, Ades-Landy will be responsible for the business development of the commercial business centre dedicated to medium-sized businesses and syndications.
With over 20 years of experience in the field of business financing, financial recovery services and credit, Ades-Landy has profound knowledge of the commercial lending sector. She has held various high-level positions with several Canadian banking institutions, including until recently senior vice president, transaction advisory services at KPMG.
“Small and medium-sized businesses are the core of our commercial lending strategy in Quebec, together with agricultural and real estate financing,” stated André Scott, executive vice president, commercial financial services, Laurentian Bank of Canada, whom Ades-Landy will report to. “The background and knowledge of our new senior vice president will allow us to intensify our efforts in the medium-sized business segment, where the financing needs of borrowers are generally between $3 million and $20 million, a market that offers strong growth potential.”
