ING Canada has named Charles Brindamour as its new president and chief executive, effective Jan. 1, 2008.
He will succeed Claude Dussault, who is retiring but will remain as chairman of the company’s board. Brindamour, who joined the company in 1992, has been ING’s chief operating officer since January.
“Charles has demonstrated strong leadership abilities over the years and was instrumental in the development and execution of the vision and strategy,” said current chairman Yves Brouillette, in a news release.
ING Canada provides property and casualty insurance, offering automobile, property and liability insurance to individuals and businesses through its insurance subsidiaries.
