Home Capital Group Inc. today announced that Phil Braginetz has joined the company as chief financial officer.

Braginetz has more than 25 years of experience in the Canadian financial services industry. He has held various senior management positions with domestic and international banks and, most recently, in the credit union sector.

“I am very pleased that Phil Braginetz has joined Home Capital,” says Gerald Soloway, president and CEO. “We have created this new CFO position at what I believe is precisely the right time in the company’s evolution. Phil’s wide-ranging financial services experience will be a welcome complement to our proven executive team.”

Braginetz is a graduate of Concordia University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
