Scotia Capital analyst David Tyerman and his auto parts, industrial products and transportation equity research team are joining Genuity Capital Markets, the full-service investment firm announced Monday.
The team includes Tyerman, Neil Forster and Chris Bowes. Genuity says the addition of Tyerman’s team demonstrates the firm’s commitment to developing its research expertise in the industrial products and transportation franchise.
An analyst since 1997, Tyerman is top-ranked in the auto parts sector. More recently, he has added aerospace manufacturers (Bombardier and CAE) and air transport companies to his coverage universe. Tyerman also covers other industrial companies, including ATS Automation Tooling Systems and New Flyer Industries.
Forster will be adding to Genuity’s coverage of industrial products and transportation. Forster joined Tyerman’s team in March 2006.
Bowes will continue to provide associate support for the team’s coverage universe. Bowes joined Mr. Tyerman’s team in November 2007.
Tyerman and his team will start at Genuity on Monday, March 30 and will be based in Toronto.
