Former chairmen of the Ontario Securities Commission, Ed Waitzer, has been named as the inaugural holder of the Jarislowsky Dimma Mooney Chair in Corporate Governance at York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School and Schulich School of Business.
The three-year appointment takes effect on January 1, 2008. Waitzer currently practices law at Stikeman Elliott LLP, and is the Falconbridge Professor of Law at Osgoode Hall Law School. During his appointment, he will remain an active partner of Stikeman Elliott.
