A former vice-president at the Investment Planning Counsel of Canada (IPC) has joined the executive team at financial services software firm Ticoon Technology Inc., the company announced Friday.
Heather Engler-Howard has been appointed to the newly-created position of vice president, professional services, at Toronto-based Ticoon, effective immediately.
Prior to joining the company, Engler-Howard served as vice president, operations at IPC, where she was responsible for building the infrastructure, processes and procedures to support the IDA division, as well as establishing an advisor transition program and an MFDA to IDA transition process.
Engler-Howard has been in the financial services sector for nearly 30 years, with 19 years at the executive level. She has also held senior management roles with firms including Fidelity Intermediary Services of Canada, Money Concepts Canada, Midland Walwyn and Wood Gundy.
“Heather’s a builder and her knowledge and experience will be invaluable as we take Ticoon to its next level of growth,” said Rick Hyde, CEO of Ticoon, in a release. “We’re pleased that someone with Heather’s intuitive understanding of the operational side of the financial services industry has chosen to join Ticoon.”
The company said Engler-Howard will be responsible for all professional services, including client implementations, consulting engagements and project management.
