Investor advocacy group the Canadian Foundation for Advancement of Investor Rights has added a new policy chief.
Toronto-based FAIR Canada said Friday that Vanisha Sukdeo, a lawyer and academic, has joined the group as its director of policy research. Sukdeo is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Osgoode Hall Law School.
Last month, the group also added industry veteran Douglas Walker as senior policy counsel and announced that founder Ermanno Pascutto returned as interim executive director while it searches for a new permanent ED.
Sukdeo has been a course director at Osgoode Hall and an adjunct professor at Western Law. She has an LL.M. from Osgoode, an LL.B. from Queen’s University, and a B.A. in political science from York University.
