As a wrap-up to National Volunteer Week, Ernst & Young announced that 10 employees across Canada who have shown an exemplary commitment to their communities will receive a $2,000 donation made on their behalf to a charity of their choice.
Those recognized will also be honoured through an exclusive lunch hosted by Lou Pagnutti, Canadian chairman and CEO.
The Ernst & Young Community Excellence Awards were developed this year to recognize the contributions of Ernst & Young employees to their communities.
“Across Canada, our people generously contribute their time, knowledge and expertise to make a real and tangible difference in their communities,” said Dan Cornacchia, Ernst & Young partner and Canadian Community Engagement champion.
