David Goodman has been appointed president and CEO of Dundee Wealth Management Inc. effective immediately.
Previously he was president and CEO of Goodman & Company, home of Dynamic Funds.
Ned Goodman has relinquished his executive roles at Dundee Wealth although he will continue to provide support and assistance, particularly as an advisor to Goodman Private — the high net worth investment division of DundeeWealth — and to the Dynamic Focus + funds. He will also assist in the success and future direction of the company as the newly elected chairman of the board.
David Goodman’s rise to become chief executive of Dundee Wealth builds on more than a decade of executive management at the company. He has taken assets under management at Goodman & Company from $5 billion to nearly $25 billion in the past several years.

Robert McLeish, DundeeWealth’s former board chairman, will become the board’s Lead Director.
Dundee Wealth oversees $63.9 billion in assets under management and administration through independent financial advisors across Canada.
David Goodman joined what is today Dundee Wealth in 1994, leaving an early career as a litigator at Smith Lyons Torrance Stevenson & Mayer to become a partner and vp in the newly formed Goodman & Company, Investment Counsel Ltd.
Goodman became president and CEO of the Dynamic
Funds family (also known as Goodman & Company Investment Counsel) in 2001.He became deputy chairman of Dundee Wealth in 2006.
Born in Montreal, Goodman received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University in 1985 and a Bachelor of Law (Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa in 1988. His Chartered Financial Analyst designation was conferred by the University of Virginia in 1996.
Together with his wife of 18 years, Bonnie, Goodman has three daughters a son. He is a member of the board of Dundee Wealth and a trustee of the Dundee REIT.
