CIBC Mellon Global Securities Services Company announced today that Brendan Hughes was recently appointed to the position of director, equity securities lending to help grow the company’s domestic equities business.
“Brendan joined us on March 13, 2006, and brings more than 20 years of equity securities lending to this newly created position,” said Rob Chiuch, executive director, global securities lending, in a release.
Hughes will be responsible for further developing CIBC Mellon’s client base, and implementing the firm’s growth strategy. Previously, he held senior and executive level positions at a number of Canadian investment dealers.
