CIBC Mellon Global Securities Services Co. announced today that Don Lim and Dennis Hervatin were promoted to the positions of domestic and international loan traders, respectively, to expand the company’s global and domestic securities lending services.

Effective immediately, Don Lim’s new role will support CIBC Mellon’s expanding domestic securities lending service, with a specific focus on domestic equities.

With almost 15 years’ experience in securities lending, Lim joined CIBC Mellon in 1995, and most recently supervised global equity and fixed income lending in the company’s mid-office operations.

Also effective immediately, Dennis Hervatin’s new role will facilitate trading within the U.K. time zone, from Toronto. Hervatin joined CIBC Mellon in 1998, and since that time has gained extensive experience in cash management and derivatives clearing. Most recently, he was a project analyst at the company’s client and advisor services group.
