Toronto-based Canadian Broker Network (CBN), a network of independent insurance brokers, has appointed a new chairman, the consortium announced Thursday.
Andrew Kemp, co-president of Kelowna, B.C.-based CapriCMW Insurance Services Ltd., succeeds Mike Robinson as CBN chairman.
Robinson, president, Windsor, Ont.-based PBL Insurance Ltd., has completed his two-year tenure.
“On behalf of the CBN, I’d like to personally thank Mike for his unfailing commitment to CBN and our members,” Kemp says in a statement. “Mike worked tirelessly advancing CBN’s strategic priorities including Carrier Relationships, Technology and Business Development.”
CBN is a consortium of leading independent insurance brokerages. Its members represent more than $1 billion in property casualty premiums as well as employee benefits and life and financial services, with over 50 offices across Canada and more than 1,500 employees.
