BMO Harris Private Banking today announced the recent hiring of Nigel Hawkins as vp and market manager for Vancouver Island.

Hawkins has over 20 years experience in wealth management and private banking. Most recently, Hawkins was with Coutts & Co, a premier private bank within the Royal Bank of Scotland group, serving high net worth clients in the Thames Valley region of England.

After a career that seen him develop new business lines and grow global sales and distribution of asset management funds for a financial institution with offices in the Middle East, Europe, Africa and the Americas, Hawkins has chosen as the permanent home for his family.

In addition to numerous financial qualifications, Hawkins is a mechanical engineer.
