Alan Desnoyers is now vice-president and managing director, Quebec for BMO Harris Private Banking, the bank announced on Wednesday.
As part of his new role, Desnoyers is responsible for the overall business strategy for BMO Harris in Quebec. Desnoyers will lead a team of roughly 100 professionals in the banking, investment, succession planning, estate, trust and philanthropic services.
Over the past 27 years, Desnoyers has held several executive and leadership roles in the business banking sector. Most recently, Desnoyers was vice-president, personal banking, Montreal region, BMO Bank of Montreal.
Desnoyers replaces Yannick Archambault in the Quebec role. Archambault will be moving into a new position in Toronto as vice-president and chief operating officer, BMO Harris Private Banking.
