BMO Financial Group today announced the appointments of Luc Bachand as vice chairman, BMO Nesbitt Burns, investment Banking Group and Darryl White as executive managing director and head of investment and corporate banking, Montreal office. These appointments are effective February.
Bachand’s career at BMO Financial Group has spanned more than 23 years, including the last 18 years with BMO Nesbitt Burns.
Bachand has led BMO’s investment and corporate banking services in Montreal for the past ten years. In his new role, he will be devoting his full attention to senior relationship management of corporate, government, and institutional clients.
“Luc’s highly successful track record, client focus and extensive experience will be an invaluable asset in his new position as we continue to focus on achieving industry-leading performance and creating shareholder value,” said Jacques Ménard, chairman, BMO Nesbitt Burns, in a release.
Originally from Montreal, Darryl White has developed extensive Investment and corporate banking experience over the past 12 years with BMO Nesbitt Burns in Toronto. He has worked with many Quebec clients on various transactions over this period. He will also be taking on some senior account responsibilities and will join the Investment and corporate banking Canadian management committee, as well as the BMO Financial Group, Quebec, management committee.
