BluMont Capital Inc. today announced that Conor Bill, Peter Chodos and James Wanstall have joined the BluMont executive team. Bill and Chodos join as managing directors and Wanstall as executive vp, national sales.

Bill has over 15 years of experience in all aspects of finance. Before co-founding Mt. Auburn Capital Corp. he was one of the founders of Lawrence Asset Management Inc., where he was responsible for developing and marketing structured financial products for both the public and private markets. He has extensive experience developing, marketing and managing structured financial products and first acquired his skills in the field at Scotia Capital Inc. Bill has an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queens University.
Chodos has over 25 years experience in financial engineering and corporate finance with Wood Gundy, Loewen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon and BZW Canada. He has lead re-structuring deals, mergers and acquisitions and structured financings for a wide range of private and public companies in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. He was one of the founders of Lawrence Asset Management Inc. and a co-founder of Mt. Auburn Capital Corp. Chodos received his MBA from Harvard University and is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Business Valuator and graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce.
Wanstall has over 20 years experience in financial services. He started his career in 1985 on the Eurobond desk of McLeod Young Weir in London, England. In 1991, he served as an investment advisor at Burns Fry Ltd., before becoming vice president, sales at a major Canadian mutual fund company. He helped to develop the Canadian ETF business at Barclays Global Investors, before joining the hedge fund industry, playing an instrumental role at a competing hedge fund company. Wanstall currently serves on the Canadian board of the Investment Management Consultants Association as Chair of the Communications Committee.
