Bank of Montreal today announced several executive appointments in British Columbia. Rob Serraglio is named senior vp, B.C. division, responsible for the performance of over 3,000 financial professionals BMO’s network of 143 branches in B.C. and the Yukon.
Serraglio has a deep knowledge and extensive experience in personal and commercial banking having worked over 33 years at BMO, including the last 11 in executive positions. Prior to his appointment, he was vp, retail banking for the Greater Vancouver district.
“Throughout his career with BMO, Rob has led his teams to superior performance while demonstrating a constant commitment to customer service,” says Frank Techar, president and CEO, BMO Bank of Montreal. “His ability to inspire his staff will serve us well with new and current customers,” adds Techar.
Reporting to Serraglio are three newly appointed executives in B.C. Joanne Gassman is appointed vp, retail banking, Vancouver Suburban district. She was previously vp, Vancouver Island.
Michael Suzuki assumes the position of vp, retail and commercial banking, Vancouver Island. He was promoted from his role as commercial banking area manager, Vancouver Island district.
Jennifer Muench is promoted to vp, retail banking, Vancouver Centre district. She was previously personal banking area manager for downtown Vancouver.
Richard Rudderham, senior vp for B.C. division over the past four years, has been appointed senior vp for BMO Financial Group’s Institute for Learning in Toronto. Rudderham is responsible for developing and delivering BMO’s overall learning strategy aligned with the bank’s business objectives for its 37,000 employees.
