AIM Trimark Investments announced the promotion of Graham Anderson to chief investment officer and Peter Intraligi to president, effective today.
“Over the past seven years, Graham has played a major role in the evolution of Trimark’s Investment team,” says Phil Taylor, senior managing director and head of Invesco Ltd.’s North American retail asset management business. Invesco is the parent company of AIM Trimark.
“After a thorough review of internal and external candidates, it became clear to all of us that Graham is the most qualified individual for this role. I’m confident in his abilities to lead the group,” Taylor says.
As chief investment officer, Anderson will oversee more than 27 investment professionals. His responsibilities will include oversight ensuring portfolio manager adherence to the Trimark investment discipline, talent management, succession planning, and representing and promoting a strong investment culture overall.
Anderson will join Invesco’s Investors Forum, comprised of Invesco’s most senior investment leadership from around the world. The objective of this group is to leverage and strengthen Invesco’s investment talent worldwide by providing a formal venue for sharing ideas and best practices. Invesco Ltd. is the parent company of AIM Trimark Investments.

With almost 20 years of industry experience, Anderson joined AIM Trimark in 2000 and has worked closely with the investment team in various capacities, including most recently as head of investment operations and services and performing the duties of chief investment officer in the interim. He is a CFA charterholder, a Chartered Accountant and earned his MBA from Cornell University.
AIM Trimark also announced that Peter Intraligi has been promoted to president of AIM Trimark Investments. Intraligi takes responsibility for leading and managing AIM Trimark and will continue reporting to Taylor.
“Peter has been pivotal to the success of AIM Trimark over the past nine years,” says Taylor. “By successfully taking on key positions within both Canada and Invesco globally, he has proven himself to be an exceptional leader.”
Intraligi has over 15 years of experience in financial services. He began his career at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young before moving on to CIBC in the global private banking and trust business. He joined AIM Trimark in 1999 as vp, corporate research and development where he helped spearhead the company’s growth strategy in Canada, including the acquisition of Trimark Investments in 2000. Most recently, Intraligi has been AIM Trimark’s chief operating pfficer, a role he will maintain in addition to being president.
He has a BSc in Engineering and an MBA from the University of Toronto/Università Bocconi, Milan, Italy.
