Montreal-based Fiera Capital Corp. announced that Monique Leroux is joining the company as vice chairwoman and strategic advisor.
In this position, Leroux will aid senior management at Fiera as well as its divisions’ management teams in the firm’s development and strategic planning. Leroux will also be joining the firm’s strategic development committee.

“Monique Leroux is a renowned and respected person in this country’s financial services sector,” he adds. “She embodies thoroughness and excellence, in addition to having forged an exceptional reputation everywhere she has worked.”
Leroux was president and CEO of the Desjardins Group from 2008 to 2016. Currently, she is the president of the International Cooperative Alliance and is the founder and chairwoman of the International Summit of Co-operatives.
In addition, Leroux is the president of the board of directors of Investment Quebec and chairwoman of the Economic and Innovation Council of the Government of Quebec.
