Guelph, Ont.-based The Co-operators Group Ltd. launched a new mobile app on Thursday that allows its insurance and investment clients to view their accounts through their smartphones or tablets.
Specifically, the firm’s clients can use the app to access their insurance policies, view policy and billing documents, make a claim, get a quote and find an advisor. Additional features and functionality will be added on a regular basis, according to the firm’s announcement.
“We’re always looking for ways to improve convenience and value for our clients,” says Paul Mlodzik, vice president of marketing and communications at The Co-operators, in a statement. “The new app allows them to do business with us wherever and whenever they choose. Whether they prefer to drop by an advisor’s office, speak to us by phone or deal with us online, the choice is theirs.”
The app, which is now available on Apple’s App Store and Google Play, can be used by home, auto, life, commercial, farm, life and wealth clients of Co-operators General Insurance Co. and Co-operators Life Insurance Co.
