TD Canada Trust EasyWeb Internet banking will offer a new look and an expanded range of features and services for customers when it is re-launched next week.
The improvements build on a platform that includes telephone and wireless banking, automatic bank machines and TD Waterhouse online investing site WebBroker. EasyWeb banking will further enable customers to do even more of their banking, investing and research online. Transactions will be easier due to streamlined navigation, according to Chuck Hounsell, senior vice-president for electronic banking.
“This latest version of EasyWeb has been designed as a response to what our customers have told us,” said Hounsell. “It’s simple, convenient and secure.”
“Although we’re always sensitive to introducing change, we’re encouraged by the extremely positive response from more than 1,500 customers who have helped us pilot the new version,” Hounsell said.
Customers will have access to details of term deposits, mortgages and loan accounts as well as the ability to request lump sum mortgage and/or loan payments. They can customize “Quick Links” to take them directly to their most frequent transactions and be able to order cheques online.
They will also have improved access to mutual fund investments, research and tools. Logins have been simplified by a feature allowing customers to create a unique descriptive name for each Access Card holder in a household.
