Sentry Select Capital Corp. reports that David Schwartz has retired from his position of senior vp and chief operating officer of the firm.
“David had a great impact on the growth of the company over his 13 years with Sentry Select,” says John Driscoll, CEO and president of Sentry Select.
Sandy McIntyre has accepted the position of chief investment officer of Sentry Select, in addition to maintaining the titles of senior vp and senior portfolio manager. McIntyre has over 30 years of experience managing equity and fixed income investment portfolios, most recently with an emphasis on income equity mandates.
The company also announced that Glenn MacNeill is no longer employed by Sentry Select.
Sandy McIntyre, Kevin MacLean and Laura Lau have taken over all portfolio management duties previously handled by MacNeill.
Toronto-based Sentry Select manages over $6.5 billion in assets.
