Raymond James Streamline and HighView Financial Group Inc. today announced a series of seminars to address key governance and risk management issues faced by investment counsel and portfolio managers (ICPMs).

As well, the seminars will offering risk management strategies aimed at helping wealth manangement firms succeed in a highly competitive marketplace.

“The Canadian Wealth Management industry has experienced tremendous growth over the past several years and is projected to expand at an accelerated pace over the next decade due to demographic changes,” says James Phair, vp, Raymond James Streamline. “Our seminar series is designed to offer valuable information to ICPMs so they have the tools to take advantage of the growth opportunities that are available.”

The series is scheduled to stage events in major city centres across Canada over the coming year. Topics will focus on timely matters specific to ICPM firms such as governance, asset management and regulatory change.

The next seminar on governance and risk management issues for ICPMs will be on Thursday, March 27 at 16:00 at the Toronto Board of Trade.
