A computer glitch briefly disrupted operations at Bank of Nova Scotia today. The bank said that the computer communication problem affected its customers for about 40 minutes Wednesday morning.
Backup systems eventually kicked in. The bank said the outage affected online banking, telephone banking, Interac point-of-sale services, automated banking machines and other functions.
Scotiaband said it is trying to find out what caused the problem.
