RBC Royal Bank is increasing its recruitment of disabled workers throughout Quebec. The recruitment drive is making use of agencies specializing in assisting persons with disabilities, as well as through college and university campus visits across the province.

The new recruits are assigned, according to their skills, qualifications and interests, to existing positions that deal with either administration and finance or customer service.

“Our decision,” said Micheline Martin, senior VP, Quebec, “stems from our community oriented initiatives as well as from our business strategy. Our customers are well diversified and we believe this diversity should be reflected, as much as possible, within our workforce. This can only help us foster the excellent relationship we already have with our customers.”
