RBC Insurance has promoted Mark Studer and Ric Wilson to support its third party group, life and health insurance businesses in Western Canada.
Studer is now the regional vp, Prairie Region, which includes the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Wilson is the new regional vp, Western Region, which includes the province of British Columbia.
The pair were formerly regional directors in the western region of RBC Insurance.
In their new positions Struder and Wilson will be responsible for working with distributors to build life, health and group insurance sales as well as managing a team of sales consultants.
“RBC Insurance continues to focus on working with its distribution network to help grow their insurance businesses,” said Neil Paton, vp, third party distribution, RBC Insurance, in a release. “We are pleased to have Mark and Ric take on these new roles within RBC Insurance and are confident our distributors will benefit from their extensive experience.”
