Toronto-based Raymond James Ltd. announced on Tuesday that the advisor team of Kevin Webber and Daniel Brodlieb are joining the firm and bringing a support team and more than $500 million in assets under management from Toronto-based BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc.
“Kevin, Daniel and their team share a keen focus on putting the needs of their clients first in all that they do,” says Richard Rousseau, executive vice president and head of wealth management at Raymond James, in a statement. “They have exceptional client relationships that represent over$500 million in assets under management. We are honoured to welcome them and their clients to the Raymond James family.”
Webber, who has 35 years of industry experience, will serve as senior vice president and portfolio manager of the private client group. Much of Webber’s work in advising clients focuses on research and risk mitigation, the firm’s news release says.
Brodlieb, who brings almost 10 years of investment industry experience, holds the title of financial advisor within the team. In addition to being a licensed insurance advisor, Brodlieb is working towards a designation as a chartered financial analyst.
“We were drawn to Raymond James because of its unique culture that celebrates and nurtures independent advice and personalized solutions for clients,” Webber says. “This non-bureaucratic environment enables us to offer our clients the best of both worlds — world-class products and services delivered to Canadians coast to coast.”
