Responding to the growing number of corporate and individual subscribers to PlanPlus Web Advisor across Canada, PlanPlus today announce three initiatives to serve its clients better.
Effective July 17, PlanPlus has activated a 1-800 support number that will be available to any user who requires technical support for PlanPlus Web Advisor. The support desk can be reached at 1-800-601-1762 between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST. Support calls will be limited in duration and are not intended as an alternative to training.
When users call the new 800 support line, they will be now be able to select English or French Support, as PlanPlus has added Louis-Martin Landry in Montreal to its support services group.
“Louis-Martin has been the technical support resource with Berger Laurin Scott, the distributor of PlanPlus Pro in Quebec for the past several years”, said Lori Magee, Manager of Client Services for PlanPlus. “As such he is already very familiar with our software. He has also been working with Web Advisor and some of our Quebec customers that have migrated from the desktop software over the past several months”.
In addition to the new support line, PlanPlus has set up a new support email address supportfrancais@planplus.com for French language questions.
“Bilingual customers who feel comfortable operating in English are still encouraged to utilize the English support services as we have more resources and may be able to respond to issues more quickly” said Magee “but clearly Louis-Martin Landry is very competent and experienced. He will have access to our Lindsay support desk if required.”
PlanPlus also announced that Chris Brayman will be joining the firm as director of business development in Western Canada. Brayman has over 20 years experience working in enterprise account management in the IT sector with companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Cognos and others. Brayman is based in Kelowna, B.C.
“PlanPlus has always had a strong user community in Western Canada with companies like Coast Capital, Credential Securities, Westminster Credit Union and others”, said Shawn Brayman, President of PlanPlus. “Chris, who is my brother, and I started in the IT sector with the same firm 20 years ago and it seems fitting that our paths reconnect at this time. He will help bring a depth of experience for enterprise users as well as a local presence in the west to ensure we are working with customers to meet their strategic business objectives when it comes to financial planning and advice delivery.
PlanPlus provides wealth management and financial planning solutions based on their PlanPlus Web Advisor software to financial services firms worldwide.
