Vancouver-based PBI Actuarial Consultants Ltd. now has a Toronto office. The new office is the company’s third national office including its Vancouver and Montreal locations.

“We are very excited about this expansion — it is a natural step in our growth as an organization serving clients throughout the country,” said Tony Williams, president, PBI, in a statement. “The opening of our Toronto office will improve our ability to service our existing national clients and will enable us to meet the region’s expanding demand.”

PBI provides actuarial, administrative and investment consulting services to trust funds, pension plans and benefit plans. The actuarial consulting firm focuses on multi-employer plans, non-profit and public sector organizations.

Clare Pitcher and Cynthia (Cindy) Rynne will be the senior consulting actuaries for the Toronto office. Pitcher and Rynne intend to focus on growing PBI’s presence in central Ontario and developing target benefit plan services.
