Pacific & Western Credit Corp. today announced the appointed a new chairman and two new directors.
The company says Douglas Gough has been appointed as chairman of the boards of both the company and Pacific & Western Bank of Canada. Gough has been a director of Pacific & Western since 1996 after having held several senior positions in a Canadian chartered domestic bank. Gough has been on the bank’s credit committee since 2000 and has been the chairman of that committee since 2002.
Thomas Hockin, has been appointed to the boards of the company and the bank. Hockin has a wealth of experience in the financial services industry. Hockin recently announced his plans to step down as chairman of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada.
Paul Oliver has also been appointed to the boards of the corporation and the bank. Oliver has been a senior partner in the financial services industry practice group at a major accounting firm for twenty-four years.
Pacific & Western Bank of Canada is wholly owned by Pacific & Western Credit Corp., whose shares trade on the TSX.
