FP Canada is accepting nominations for the FP Canada Fellow distinction and the Donald J. Johnston Lifetime Achievement Award.

The FP Canada Fellow distinction recognizes people who have made significant contributions to the advancement of professional financial planning in Canada.

Criteria for the award include volunteer work directly related to FP Canada’s mandate of advancing professional financial planning, and advancing FP Canada’s standards to increase public interest and strengthen the reputation of the designation.

The Donald J. Johnston Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual’s lifetime contribution to the financial planning profession.

To be considered for the Donald J. Johnston Award, nominees must have previously received the FP Canada Fellow distinction and must have made a significant impact on FP Canada certifications and on the financial planning professional as a whole.

Nominations for both the FP Canada Fellow distinction and the Donald J. Johnston Award will be accepted until June 10.

The award recipients will be honoured during Financial Planning Week 2020, taking place Nov. 20 to 27.
