Debt rating agency Dominion Bond Rating Service has changed its name, effective immediately, to DBRS.
The change, embodying “a new corporate identity, including a new logo and visual identity,” coincides with a move of its offices to the newly rebannered DBRS Tower in Toronto.
“All of DBRS’s core elements will remain the same,” said president Walter Schroeder.
The new visual presentation carries the tagline, “Insight beyond the rating” amid DBRS’s ongoing expansion in competition against U.S. bond-rating agencies Standard & Poor’s, Moody’s and Fitch.
