CIBC will begin airing the third phase in its national brand television advertising campaign, the bank said Monday.

The new campaign demonstrates how CIBC (TSX:CM) has helped clients achieve what matters to them in their business and personal lives for more than 140 years. The commercial features and is narrated by CIBC’s president and CEO, Gerry McCaughey, who closes the commercial by saying: “What matters to our clients, matters to all of us at CIBC.”

CIBC launched the campaign to demonstrate its commitment to helping Canadians achieve financial goals that are important to them, like home ownership, building their business, planning for a financially secure retirement or saving for a child’s education.

CIBC has featured more than 55 employees from across Canada in its brand campaign over the past year.

“Our 40,000 employees work every day across the country to help meet the financial needs of millions of Canadians,” says Stephen Forbes, executive vice president of CIBC marketing, communications and public affairs. “We wanted to feature real CIBC employees versus actors so that we could capture the passion and commitment that our employees bring to our clients each day.”

The new 30-second commercial will begin airing on national television this week.
