Toronto-based Mercer Canada has a new leader for its wealth business, the firm said in a release on Wednesday.

The global consultancy appointed Teresa Palandra as wealth business leader, responsible for the delivery of investment, wealth management and retirement services and solutions in Canada.

Palandra brings more than 20 years’ experience providing advisory services to a wide range of clients in different industries, the release said.

She succeeds Jean-Philippe Provost, who accepted a new role leading the multinational client segment of Mercer’s global business solutions team.
