Manulife Investments has expanded its Solutions program to make it easier for advisors across Canada to provide clients with financial planning concepts and tips.
Solutions magazine was introduced in 2002, as Manulife’s in-house publication for advisors to share with their clients every spring, fall and winter. Since then, its circulation has grown steadily to over 100,000 per edition with feature articles and case studies to help clients understand the importance of financial planning and wealth protection. The Solutions web tool was launched last year to house short videos on a number of different wealth management topics that advisors can email to clients.
Through its online portal — manulifeinvestments.ca/solutions — and its new mobile-friendly site at m.manulifesolutions.ca, advisors can easily access articles, videos and whole magazine issues to help educate clients about different investment and insurance strategies, and the importance of financial planning.
“Through the Solutions Program, advisors can share the latest financial planning information with their clients easily and quickly,” says Jeff Carrique, AVP, investments marketing & communications. “Each person wants information in a different way. Some want a magazine, others like email or videos. This new tool helps advisors provide meaningful information in the ways their clients want.”
New online tools
The web tool, and its new Mobile 1:1 service, offers a growing library of over 200 relevant and useful articles and videos about life events and topics related to different stages of an investor’s life, which can be specially selected by advisors for their clients.
Many advisors spend as much time at their desks as they do on the road, meeting with clients. The new mobile service features the most popular videos and articles, any one of which can be emailed to a client as a quick follow up to a meeting, right from the advisor’s smart phone, for viewing on the client’s desktop computer.
